How Sweet it is to be a Husky!
Dear Briarwood Families,
Happy February! This month is filled with opportunities to celebrate learning, kindness, and community. As we have moved into the second half of the school year, I am proud of the hard work and dedication our students, teachers, and families continue to show each day.
February is a time to highlight the importance of friendship, compassion, and perseverance. We will be celebrating Spreading Love to Our Huskies week, encouraging students to spread positivity through their words and actions. Additionally, we recognize Black History Month, honoring the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. Our classrooms will engage in meaningful discussions and activities that inspire learning and reflection.
With academic goals in mind, we encourage families to continue supporting students by reading together at home and fostering a love of learning. Reading is Sweet! Week will be coming soon, bringing the book fair and many opportunities for students, staff and families to show their love of reading.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our staff and families for making Briarwood a place where students feel valued and inspired. Your support makes all the difference!
Let’s make it a fantastic month!
Go Huskies!
